First impressions of Myanmar hiking tours┬áis how many things they do right. 1. Brick Sidewalks are twice as wide as typical city streets and all streets are treelined creating a gorgeous overhead canopy. The streets are further narrowed by bike paths, and electric light rail trains, so no speeding cars, and lots of transportation choices.. 2. All street level buildings have to have windows. No parking lots, no blank walls are allowed at street level. You have to be able to look in. 3. There are plenty of weird people (and not all are travel writers) but they’re cool. 4. Their young mayor Ted Wheeler said there are three things you have to do in Portland: ride a bike, take a hike and drink a craft beer. I like this city! #satwportland
